The burger neither looked nor tasted or smelled like a burger, it was sort of deep fried rather than pan fried or bbq'ed. I regret I made two bites of it. The lady who was putting it together put on gloves after noticing that I was watching. I once had a meal from the salad bar, which was okay, but I doubt their cooking can be trusted. Avoid it to be safe.
I ate most of my meals here during my third year of universityThe food is very fresh, economical, and fillingFor $8, you could get a large sandwich with a side salad (which is a huge box of side dishes) and I would eat it for two meals
Nice place, the service is very good too. The food are delicious and tasty, with a generous portion ! Choose the burger angus, it's very tasty !
Love going here if I need to buy lunch. Quick service and healthy options. My go-to is the large salad box for approx $7 and they fill it up to the brim!
Great, even the line is long, staffs are able of handle this with order receipts. Though big salad is healthy but without any animal protein, provides you less energy compared with other options.
$6 for a large salad: you can't go wrong here! I love that I can choose the different types of items in my salad and they are super generous with the portions. Salad options include spicy udon, mango salad, garlic broccoli, tofu balls, etc. The staff are friendly and super sweet!
Breakie was good!!
Been going to this place on and off for many years. Food is decent and portions are more than fair. Most items are made to order. When it's busy the staff can seem to be rude or uninterested but I expect that is just because they are trying to get the food out. If you go when it is the lunch rush then they are more friendly and chatty.
First time here from a co-worker's recommendation for cheap and effective breakfast. Will say I didn't realize how much they give (seems little) but you're full for a good chunk of your day after the one meal.
Overall: Great place for really cheap, really random and very filling food! Come here if you're looking for affordable food with a wide selection.Location: It's in the food court right by Queen's Park station. Price: For $5 you get a small clear box, and $8 you get a large clear box. You can fill it up with as vegetarian much food as it can fit. The selections are really random and ranges from glass noodles, to pasta salad, to mashed potatoes, to fruits. The workers will pack it very full for you. You can also order a meat + rice for around $10, and stuff it with as many sides as you want. Food: The taste is decent enough for the price. Everything is slightly on the saltier side.Service: Very fast, very efficient, right up my alley.
I've been a customer for many years, and was a regular customer when I worked closer. Delicious healthy food for great value. My favourite order is the large salad bar. Only $7 for a generous serving of a customizable wide variety of vegetarian options. The attached photo is just a sampling of today's options.
Rudest store owner ever.(the asian man). Never come here. They handle food filthily and use cheap products
Good variety of food, hard working crew to get orders done quickly
My go to for take out food in this area. The house salad is a great value.
I go for breakfast 2x every three weeks when I'm in Toronto for cancer treatment. Breakfast is great and a great price also. Staff is friendly.
This place used to be great. But ever since they switched owner about 2 years ago the quality of the food has significantly decreased. The tuna pasta used to be good but now it is watery and lacks of taste. Regardless the food is still cheap, so you get what you pay for. But what bothers me is that they never lack the flow of customers since it is at a good location so why can't they just serve quality food?
I used to come here twice a month for their lunch special. The salad bar is incredible with so many choices.
Good food at a fair price. Try the vegetarian sandwich! Awesome and they don't skimp on toppings like Subway!
The salad bar is a safe choice. Don't order items with ingredients that may be made from leftover. For example, the chicken salad for the sandwich may be made from leftover chicken breast, because the chicken salad has lots of black pepper and does not taste like chicken at all. This may be for masking certain taste. Same for the salmon filling for their maki sushi roll, the salmon filling tastes spicy and does not taste like salmon at all. This place used to be good, but it got worst. The spicy salmon filling in my maki roll today contains RICE and tiny bits of salmon. So, the filling is just some red/pink rice inside the maki roll.
